Bill Burnett, President of the Rotary Club of Cedar Creek Lake, was recently honored by the Daughters of the American Revolution with their Excellence in Community Service award. Bill serves as chairperson for the local HUD Housing Board and as a board member with Forever Families, a faith based program for women who have been incarcerated or coming from drug rehab programs.
Bill was president of the local food pantry for seven years before becoming Rotary President and still active in working with them.  He has done meals-on-wheels with his wife, Anne, for the last seven years and is an active deacon in his church. Last but not least, he and his wife rescue dogs and cats, especially those they find having been abused.  Presently they have five dogs and eight cats.
