The Rotary Club of Cedar Creek Lake's Celebrity Waiter fund raiser was another smashing success. This year's theme was "Heroes and Villains" with guest dressing in costume to represent their favorite hero or villain. Supergirl was the costume worn by many of the women while Superman seem to be everywhere. This is the 21st year for the Celebrity Waiter fundraiser and by far the most profitable for the club.There were 136 silent auction items donated that brought in over $9,700 and 28 live auction items sold for more than $28,000. Ticket sales and the different sponsors levels help bring the grand total collected to over $67,000. Special guest were DG Ted Huffhines and his wife Angela and PDG Carroll Greenwaldt District Director TRF Programs.
