Ours is the opportunity to empower Rotarians to change our World.

Remember that October is Economic and Community Development Month and October 5th -11th is Rotary Alumni Reconnect Week and October 24th is World Polio Day. That’s a lot for one month, but it underscores what we can do to change lives when we come together in friendship, fellowship, and service.

Ava and I have now seen over ½ of our District Clubs. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our vision of Rotary, a combination of old and new, where we continue to honor traditions of Perfect Attendance yet embrace E-Clubs and Satellite Clubs and other new models of Rotarians coming together to open opportunities.

Congratulations to Karen Maines, Past President of the Longview-Greggton Rotary Club who has been selected by the District 5830 Nominating Committee as District Governor Nominee Designate.  She has been selected to serve during the 2023-24 Rotary Year.

Pursuant to the District’s Bylaws, specifically Article II – District 5830 Committees, the Nomination of Karen Maines was held until September 30th to permit any challenges or re-nominations. No challenges or re-nominations have been received so the Nomination was final at midnight on September 30, 2020.
After much thought and discussion it has been decided to change the conference agenda so that all participants have the opportunity to participate in all the sessions.

The majority change is to not to offer breakout sessions.  Please pre register at your earliest convenience if you have not already registered.

(Click Here to Register) No fee for the Conference; however, a contribution of $25.00 or more will be appreciated.
