Texarkana Oaklawn RC's Arkansas High Interact students spent Tuesday afternoon, during their Thanksgiving break, volunteering at the Salvation Army. The students helped with preparation for the annual Angel Tree distribution. They had a busy afternoon preparing hygiene kits, hanging and organizing clothes, filling Angel Tree bags, and learning about the complex process that takes place each year. They were in awe of everything that has to be planned and done to make sure kids and senior adults in our community have a wonderful Christmas!
Interact students will be volunteering again on Tuesday, December 19th on distribution day!
