Not only did you make a huge impact on lives within your communities through your money, blood, sweat and tears, you made a difference in lives internationally through your generous gifts to The Rotary Foundation, and I can’t thank you enough!

District 5830 Rotarians, you surpassed the $150 per capita goal to The Rotary Foundation Annual Fund in 2023-24, AND you passed the $50 per capita PolioPlus goal toward eradicating polio!
What this means is that you changed lives for thousands of people--  providing kidney transplants to low income, high risk patients; providing corsets and wheelchairs to children with severe scoliosis; providing rain catchment systems for families in a rural community that lacks access to water; supporting a Rotary mobile dental clinic in St. Lucia; and supporting a continued partnership with the Tikal’ Rotary Club in Peten’, Guatemala.

But wait—there’s MORE! Through your generous support of PolioPlus’ efforts toward polio eradication, your 2023-24 donation, and the two-for-one match through the Gates Foundation, saved 213,633 children from polio! YOU did that!

SAVE THE DATE- OCTOBER 26—location TBD—for your District Foundation Dinner and Celebration. We will celebrate the impact you have made in our communities and through The Rotary Foundation. Be looking here on the District website for more information!

It’s a Great Day to be a Rotarian!
