The Oaklawn Rotary Club of Texarkana held their Annual Drawdown Fundraiser on October 23rd at the Elks 399 Lodge in Texarkana, Arkansas. In addition to the drawdown, the annual event included a fish fry, a silent auction, and a raffle. 
Rotarian Hershel Flanagan provided musical entertainment for event goers. The event was record setting for the club, raising more than $10,000 for local charities. The club is currently reviewing charities nominated to receive individual grants of $600 each and will soon be awarding the grants made possible each year through the fundraising initiative.
