When you receive your August 2024 Rotary Magazine look for the Chetumal Tire Recycling Project. This was a joint project by Athens, Cedar Creek Lake, Kilgore and Wills Point Rotary Clubs. The clubs funded $8,000.00 with a small match from FURMEX. Andrea Myntti-Groom, wife of PDG Mike Groom, latched on to this project when they went to Mexico City in November 2019 for the annual Heart2Heart Project Fair. “Congratulations to these four clubs, to District 5830 and FURMEX for this recognition.
