Rotary International's monthly theme for April is Environment.

Rotary members are tackling environmental issues the way they always do: coming up with projects, using their connections to change policy and planning for the future.

We are a part of Zone 30-31 Heart2Heart mission in Mexico which addresses July monthly theme and other areas of focus. A project special to me is what we have done and will continue to do in Guatemala at the hospital in San Benito. Our district has already made improvements in the maternity ward and NICU at the hospital, but there is still more to do!Another project for which I am asking for your clubs’ and individual help is the Pre-school in Uaxactun’, a small village in the Mayan jungle in Guatemata. We are trying to raise $15,000 to build a replacement for the shack they are presently using for their four and five-year old students. This is an opportunity for every size club to participate in giving. Any gift will be appreciated. Please read the article in this bulletin for more information. Thank you for considering this!
