Fellow Rotarians,

February reminds us that Rotary’s impact reaches far beyond our local communities. This month’s Rotary theme—Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention—calls us to be intentional about building understanding, stability, and hope through service. Every project we support and every dollar we give helps address the root causes of conflict and create lasting change.

Foundation Giving: Every Gift Matters

Thanks to your generosity, District 5830 is on pace to approach $500,000 in Rotary Foundation giving this year—a remarkable milestone and a powerful reflection of who we are as Rotarians!

We are close, but we still need your help to cross the finish line before June 30. Reaching this goal happens when many Rotarians participate—through Paul Harris Fellow giving, Rotary Direct, first-time gifts, or simple stepped-up participation. Every contribution strengthens Rotary’s ability to promote peace, expand opportunity, and change lives around the world.

Investing in the Next Generation of Leaders

This month, our district is actively investing in leadership at every level.

Our RYLA campers are experiencing a transformational leadership journey led by PDG Karen Maines and her committee. One recent camper shared:

“RYLA helped me find my voice and believe that leadership is about serving others. I’m leaving more confident, more connected, and inspired to give back.”

At the same time, Rotarians are gathering at Lone Star PETS at the DFW Hyatt Regency, preparing our incoming presidents and district leaders to guide Rotary into the next year with vision and purpose.

On the Road Across the District

Over the past month, I’ve had the privilege of making multiple club visits across District 5830. Each visit reinforces the strength of our district—engaged clubs, dedicated leaders, and Rotarians making a difference.

Be sure to follow the District 5830 Facebook page for highlights and exciting updates from each club visit.

Foundation Banquet — Be Part of the Momentum

I encourage every Rotarian to join us for the District 5830 Foundation Banquet in Paris, Texas, on Saturday, February 21, 2026. This evening is more than a celebration—it is a moment to recognize generosity, celebrate impact, and help carry our Foundation momentum into the final months of the Rotary year.
