We continue to work on our April 25 District 5830 Legacy Dinner, which is now set for Friday, April 25 at the Holly Tree Country Club. Please note the change to Friday; April 25 (due to scheduling issues at Holly Tree). Ted Huffines has been working with an awesome team to educate everyone on how we can expand our Rotary Service by donating at least $10,000 by leaving a legacy gift in our will, making a cash contribution and/or making Rotary the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
Our goal is to raise at least ONE MILLION DOLLARS for the Rotary International Foundation. Thanks to the giving hearts of many, we are well on our way but we have only three weeks left until the recognition banquet. If you have any questions, please contact PDG Ted Huffhines, PDG Tom Dewitt, or me.
District Governor ELECT; Damon Donnell has been working very hard with Shirley Pinnix-Evans and PDG John Jetter to plan and organize our 2025 version of Local PETS which is required for all incoming Club Presidents that missed Lone Star PETS in February. Please check the District Calendar for location and times.
Service Above Self is our Motto and way of life for Rotarians. How are you serving locally or internationally? We have many opportunities and so many ways to help others every day - - please join hands and help.
Again; I’m humbled to serve as your 2024-2025 District Governor !
