While the Rotary Convention was a significant end to a momentous year, the Rotarians in District 5830 made it the terrific year it was. Our final numbers are still out, but Pamela Stewart, our Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator, said it really well: “To date, you beat your best total Annual Fund and Annual Fund Per Capita since at least 2012-13; [your] best total Endowment since at least 2012-13; and [your] best Total Giving since at least 2012-13.
[District] 5830 is also currently 39% above its Annual Fund Per Capita from last year and currently has the highest increase in Annual Fund Per Capita of any district in Zones 30 and 31.”
A huge thank you goes to all who worked on The Rotary Foundation events and activities and those who helped by pitching in at the Club level and at the District level across our 43 Clubs. Most especially we thank Ted Huffhines and committee for their success on the Legacy Dinner, Tom DeWitt and committee for their successes on the Matching Points Campaign, The Tyler Rotary Clubs (Tyler, Southside, and Sunrise) for the superb Foundation Dinner, and our District Administrator Shirley Pinnix-Evans, and District Governor Jeff Johnston!
It has been a pleasure to serve you as your District Rotary Foundation Chair! Thanks for planning an even greater year in 2025-2026 with Pamela Walters as DRFC.
