We believe that our shared commitment to service in an inclusive environment fosters collegiality, advances our central mission, and reinforces the principles conveyed in the 4-Way Test.”I’m reaching out as we want to solicit new members for the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee for our District. I know DEI is an important initiative at the National and District level so we need a functioning committee to focus on this work.
Anyone that is interested in serving on this committee email me at kmontgomery1715@gmail.com. We meet via Zoom at 6 pm on the first Thursday of each month. The next call will be November 3.
While we must embrace diversity to continue growing Rotary’s membership, the DEI Committee wants to also provide resources and best practices to help our clubs maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment where each member and potential member feels that they belong.
