Rotarians, October was a busy month for the Foundation with World Polio Day, but November will be busier!

November is Rotary Foundation Month, and it gives us a wonderful opportunity to focus our attention on the many great things our Rotary Foundation assists us in doing to make our world better, not only for our communities, but also for those across the world impacting people we may never meet.

Currently, your District 5830 is partnering in Dancing for Rain, A Clean, Potable Water for Indigenous Tarahumara, High Impact WASH Project led by Obuasi Rotary Club, Roger Sims Equipment for Treatment of Scoliosis in Children, Dry Toilets for the indigenous community of Las Guayabas, Empowering Girls - Toilet Blocks in Gender Sensitive Schools, H2H Wash Training for Public Elementary Schools, 11 Happy Schools - Vikarabad District (Telangana, India), John & Judy Germ Mexico City Cleft Lip & Palate Surgery, Vickie Blade Pacemaker Heart 2 Heart Project, and the H2H Holtz-Beahon Kidney Transplant Program, to name just a few of the many current and on-going efforts of your fellow Rotarians.

These are in addition to your yearly Club Project Grants each of our clubs manage and support.

Our ongoing efforts to change our world require your support. It’s hard to over emphasize the importance and need for each Rotarian’s support as each dollar contributed funds humanitarian and educational programs and their ongoing operations.

So, this November in addition to the fun of the Hunting Season, Football, and the Thanksgiving Holiday, set aside a quiet time to give thanks for the work of Rotary and for those like you who make it all happen.
