Join Us: Operation Full Plate — Friendly Competition to Fight Hunger! Hi Club Presidents and Leaders, Our district is joining Operation Full Plate: United to Fight Hunger, a friendly competition between Zones 30 & 31 to make a meaningful impact in our communities.
How your club participates: Between November 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026
1. Choose one or more hunger-focused projects — food drive, pantry volunteering, meal packing, fundraising, etc.
2. Track your impact.
3. Report it at the end of the campaign. (Deadline to report is January 15, 2027 at midnight.)
Points (a little friendly competition never hurt!)
● 1 point per food item donated (remember to count each item. For example, a package of 6 cans of tuna counts as 6 individual items. Not one.)
● 1 point per dollar contributed
● 1 point per public image activity
● 3 points per Rotarian volunteer hour
● 5 points per non-Rotarian volunteer engaged
● + 5 bonus points for every new member added during Operation Full Plate
This is a perfect way to show Rotary in action, invite guests to serve alongside us, and create natural pathways to membership.
Prizes (bragging rights included):
● Winning Zone: Virtual Happy Hour with Director Brian Hall
● Top District: Membership Grant (Cash to support a membership initiative) DG Diane is looking for ideas if our District comes out on top!
● Losing Zone Membership Coordinator Team: Volunteers an extra 10 hours fighting hunger
Your challenge: Pick one or more hunger-related projects and report your impact. Everything counts.
