The last two months of the Rotary year are always jammed with activity. District Training Assemblies, District Conferences, Club Fundraisers, New Governor Installations, and just as importantly, sending in your Club and Personal Donations to The Rotary Foundation before June 30th! Every year, your District Foundation team works diligently to remind Club Presidents and Club Foundation Chairs to make their donations. This is the time for Clubs to make sure each member donates so the Club will be an EREY Club - Every Rotarian, Every Year. This is a distinction that receives recognition from TRF and is a worthy goal for every club. It requires a $25 or more donation to the Annual Fund from each member. The longtime goal for all Rotary Clubs is to be a Sustaining Club: $100 per capita. We have a large number of Clubs who accomplish this goal every year. Many clubs have done this for many years.
If you are a Paul Harris Society member - $1000 donation per year to TRF - please make sure you have reached your commitment for this Rotary year before June 30th.  Another distinction for Clubs is to be an END POLIO NOW Club: total member/club donations to PolioPlus are $1500 or more for the Rotary year. With our upcoming District Polio Fundraiser party on May 22nd in Gilmer, Clubs have the opportunity to achieve this recognition. Be sure to go the District website and sign up. It will be a great night of fun and celebration. All funds will go towards Polio Plus.

Hopefully, Rotarians are aware of our Matching Points Campaign that is going on through the end of May. You can reach Paul Harris Fellow or PHF+ much sooner by making your donations during this month. This is our way of showing appreciation for your continued generosity. Send your donations to: PDG Tom Dewitt. You may call PDG Tom at 903-730-0600 for the mailing address. He will process your matching points.

Club Project Grant Final Reports for 2020-2021 Rotary Year are due now. A number of clubs have completed these and already submitted them, but we still have a few that need to get this done. Please send your Final Reports to: Ingrid Self, CPG Chair.  Please contact Ingrid at 903-452-8711 for the best email address to send the competed reports.

Clubs who are applying for Club Project Grants for 2021-2022 should send their completed application to Ingrid Self. These are Due May 15th. If you need assistance, please contact Ted Huffhines, 903-930-0524. You can find information, DDF amounts, Application form, and Final Reports by clicking here.

You may ask, “Why is it so important that I support the Rotary Foundation and PolioPlus?” Your donations are what allow our Clubs/ your Club/ and Rotarians around the world to provide clean water, prevent disease, help mothers & children, promote peace, stimulate economic development, improve the environment, & promote literacy and education for thousands of people around the world every year. Serving and helping others is the rent we pay for living on our planet. Please make a generous donation to the Rotary Foundation today!
