Congratulations to Roy Shockey who was selected by the District 5830 Nominating Committee as District Governor Nominee Designate. He will serve as D-5830 District Governor during the 2029-2030 Rotary Year.DGND Roy is the current President of Mineola Rotary Club. Roy has served as Mineola Club President for 4 years.
Pursuant to the District’s Bylaws, specifically Article II – District 5830 Committees, the nomination of Roy Shockey will be held until September 9, 2026, to permit any challenges or re-nominations and will thereafter become final at midnight on September 9, 2026.
