 January 2023 has truly been a blur as we readied for the Rotary Foundation Banquet. As this goes to press, we have 140 registrants and rising. And reviewing DGND Damon Donnell’s PowerPoint and Video on the Tornado Disaster Relief, and the PowerPoint on Heart 2 Heart, and the Club and Global Grants in Guatemala, all truly underscore a favorite saying by Past RI President John Germ: “What we do is not about the money, it is about the lives we change and the good we do.”
Come celebrate with us February 4th in Longview on what we as Rotarians do locally and globally, changing lives, impacting the unborn, and making our world a more loving, peaceful, and safer place for all. |

“Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.” We sing this as we close some of our Rotary meetings. It always makes me feel good, but then I don’t think about it after we leave the meeting. Let’s make this our challenge to ourselves and to our Rotary Clubs. Rotary’s focus for February is peacebuilding.
