Enrique Garcia "Keynote Speaker" is a mechanical engineer having received his degree from the Universidad de Guadalajara in 1979. Enrique is semi-retired and works for himself as he has done so for the past 27 years. His company specializes in quality control assurance. Rotary is a huge part of Enrique’s life, having been a Rotarian for 16 years, and a founding member of the Rotary Club of Tlaquepaque, Mexico. He has been a president of two different Rotary clubs. His past club roles also include sergeant at arms (twice) as well as treasurer. He current serves as Tlaquepaque’s international relationships chair. At the district level, Enrique was the District 4140 Coordinator for the 100 th anniversary of Rotary in Mexico where he coordinated 208 projects for 4140, is now serving as the 4140 Rotary Friendship Exchange Chair, a position he has held for 3 years, as well as District 4140’s representative, coordinator and advocate for Heart2Heart, Zones 30’s and 31’s partnership with Mexico for humanitarian projects.
